Starter is the softest block in the SweetPro Stage of Growth Cattle product line and is typically used by stocker/backgrounding operations for inbound calves weighing under 600 lbs. It’s a proven receiving pen product that allows calves 24/7 access to the nutrition they require for optimal start up. Starter can also be used for cattle on abundant lush forages when intake of supplement can be the most challenging.
When utilizing the SweetPro Stage of Growth Consumption Program, Starter is the softest product in the SweetPro Premium Supplement product line. If consumption on Starter consistently exceeds 1.25 lbs. per head per day, transition to Cattle Kandi to bring intake back into 0.75 to 1.25 lbs. per head per day.

Cattle Kandi is the SweetPro Stage of Growth cattle product typically used for stock calves (600-700 lbs.) when they go out to pasture in the spring or fall. Cattle Kandi can also be used on backgrounding calves in a dry lot situation where they are being fed a high roughage ration. Cattle Kandi is also a good option for yearlings and cows grazing abundant lush forages.
When utilizing the SweetPro Stage of Growth Consumption Program, Cattle Kandi is positioned between Starter and SweetPro 16. If consumption on Starter consistently exceeds 1.25 lbs. per head per day, transition to Cattle Kandi to bring intake back into 0.75 to 1.25 lbs. per head per day. If consumption on Cattle Kandi consistently exceeds 1.25 lbs. per head per day, transition to SweetPro 16 to bring intake back into 0.75 to 1.25 lbs per head per day.

Typically used with heifers and cows that have a good body condition score and are being fed good quality forages, SweetPro 16 supports the animal’s ability to breakdown forages for maximum nutrient uptake all while decreasing the amount of forage required to do so. This product is also popular with stocker/backgrounding operations to use on yearlings before they ship cattle to the feed yard.
When utilizing the SweetPro Stage of Growth Consumption Program, SweetPro 16 is positioned between Cattle Kandi and FiberMate 18. If consumption on Cattle Kandi consistently exceeds 1.25 lbs. per head per day, transition to SweetPro 16 to bring intake back into 0.75 to 1.25 lbs per head per day. Magnum helps balance a cow’s needs for overall nutrition when protein and quality of the diet start to decline. Magnum supports the animal’s ability to breakdown forages for maximum nutrient uptake all while decreasing the amount of forage required to do so.
When utilizing the SweetPro Stage of Growth Consumption Program, Magnum is the most restrictive product in the program. If consumption on Super 25 consistently exceeds 1.25 lbs. per head per day, transition to Magnum to bring intake back into 0.75 to 1.25 lbs. per head per day consumption.

Just add 1 oz of the loose meal per 100 lbs. of body weight. Each bucket and bag contains a 5 oz scoop. For most adult horses, 2 scoops per day is all they will need. For easy keepers or for starting finicky horses, we recommend 1 scoop per day. Performance and working horses should receive 3 scoops per day when being pushed physically. You can top dress EquiPride to your horse’s current ration or mix with your current feed before feeding.
